So, we finished up the revival last night in Jackson, Tennessee, it was awesome to see how God did some mighty works at that small church in the middle of no where...There were about 40 salvations all together, and what is so awesome, is that it was not just teenagers, the majority were adults, I remember that one teenage girls got to see both of her parents come to know Christ, how exciting is that!!!! It was an awesome week, now I am headed to Nashville to do some sight seeing for the rest of Spring Break, but man oh man, what a way to start the week off!! So amazing. Anywho, I just wanted to update on the end of the revival...if you have never heard of Ken Freeman, you should check out his website, he is a phenomenal speaker!!! www.kenfreeman.com

God..........
So yeah, I have not written a blog in a month...my bad...but I have been so busy and had my mind in so many other places that I did not even think of writing a blog. However, I think that I want to sit down now and share some life with whoever chooses to actually read this.....as my last blog said, GOD IS AMAZING!!
You guys will never know how God has dealt with me in so many ways..jus the fact that God could love this lousy person that I am is phenomenal..I mean, He loves us no matter what we do...gosh, I just cannot fathom it...but I fully believe that He loves me, and will never leave me...I love JESUS...
Let's just start with my Spring Break trip, which is going on right now....I am in Jackson, Tennessee with my brother JT who works for Ken Freeman, who is an Evangelist...I was really looking forward to this week because we would be attending revival every night with Ken preaching...phenomenal preacher!!!!
Anywho, I just really planned on Christ speaking to me, and what do you know...He did, God has just revealed things in my life that I need to change and focus on Him...I get so distracted in life and find it so hard to fully focus only on Him, being Christ Jesus...
But I just want to share some of the key points that Ken has preached about the past few nights and what really spoke to me and effects my life...also want to share some quotes that he gave us as well...
Sunday night, Ken spoke about the Excuses that we make up for not going to church, not accepting Christ, not praying, not reading the Bible, not doing this, or not doing that... Ken defined excuse as (EXCUSE- The skin of a REASON, stuffed with a LIE)
Ken preached on the Parable of the Large Banquet in Luke 14:15-23
He gave us three excuses that we gave to Christ in this parable...
1. My property/wealth is more important than the party or person of Jesus Christ (LUKE 14:18)
2. My possessions are more important than the party or person of Jesus Christ (LUKE 14:19)
3. People/Friends/Spouse/Etc. are more important the the party or person of Jesus Christ. (LUKE 14:20)
These are the excuses the people gave to Christ in this parable. What excuses do we give God, why? Did you know, that after we give these excuses and refuse the invitation, God will not invite us again...make you want to change your answer doesn't it? THINK ABOUT IT!!!
On Monday night, Ken preached the message titled "It's All About the Heart"
-Whatever fills your heart, comes out of your mouth, and whatever comes out of your mouth, is what you mean-
Ken gave us Five different types of hearts using the Parable of the Sower Matthew 13:3-30....in these Five hearts, only ONE is the right heart. We need to ask ourselves, Do we have the right heart?
1. Calloused heart (Cold hearted) (Matthew 13:19, the seed that is sown on the path)
2. Careless Heart (Matthew 13:20-21, the seed that is sown in the rocks)
3. Crowded/Confused Heart (Matthew 13:22, the seed sown among the thorns)
4. Christ-Like Heart (Matthew 13:23, the seed sown on the good soil)
5. Counterfeit Heart (Matthew 13:37-43) The heart looks just like the christ-like heart, but is fake, it is plagairized, its a phoney...these verses talk about the weeds that were sown with the wheat, and how they look alike, but at the harvest, the weeds are first taken and thrown into the fire, and the wheat is taken and put in the barn. This illustrates that the weeds are those who do not accept Christ, and they are thrown into the firey pits of Hell, and the Wheat are those who have accepted Christ and have a relationship with Christ, they are stored in the Barn which symbolizes heaven. Don't you want to be the WHEAT!!! I want to be stored in Heaven at the harvest time, which is the end of time....
The last thing I would like to share tonight it this, it was from the sermon Ken spoke to us about at tonight service. The title of the sermon was "Good ain't Good Enough"
But the thing that stuck out the most was an illustration that he shared at the end of his sermon, it was this...He told of how some hunters in another country would catch and kill these small monkeys that they wanted. What the did was drill a whole all the way through a coconut, stick food inside the coconut, and hang the coconut in a tree with string, then the hunters would go hide themselves. ALong would come a monkey and smell the food, he would stick his hand in the coconut to get the food, and began to realize that he could not get it out, because the only way to get their hand out of the coconut was to let go of the food. Ken used this to illustrate in things that we need to let go, and to give to God! Do you have your hand stuck in a coconut, allowing the hunter to kill you. We must let go and let GOD..it is the only way anything can happen...is through God....
CHOOSE GOD PLEASE!!! HE WILL ROCK YOUR WORLD!!!
(Well guys, this blog seems really long, because it is, and I will try and update it more often, but I really just wanted to share what God has spoken to me this week, and I am just really blessed to have been able to attend revival over my spring break, God knows when we need Him, and boy, do I need Him ever so much right now, as I always do!! I hope that you all who read this know that Christ loves you more than anyone else in this entire world, and he CARES for YOU!!! CHOOSE HIM!
